Personality Impairment in Children and Adolescents with ADHD

Abstract Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder in children and adolescents manifests itself a heterogeneous manner as regards personality aspects. This study aimed to evaluate, by using the Ego Impairment Index, functioning characteristics of between 9 15 years old (to be completed), diagnosed with (clinical group) compare them non-clinical group. The groups included 42 participants each. Kiddie Schedule for Affective Disorders Schizophrenia School-Age Children - Present Lifetime version was used diagnosis, Rorschach Performance Assessment System (R-PAS) utilized traits. When compared their peers, clinical group showed ability discern adaptive behaviors through proper judgment, difficulty keeping thinking reasoning processes stable, negative view themselves others, addition establishing cooperative relationships.
