Peripheral blood B cell subset ratios and expression levels of B cell-associated genes are altered in benign multiple sclerosis

چکیده

The interplay between the immune system, sleep dysfunction and cognitive impairment participates in progression of disability multiple sclerosis (MS). Our aim was to identify molecular pathways B cell associated with separate components MS disability. Benign MS, non-benign patients healthy controls were recruited. Patients underwent polysomnography studies. Microarray bioinformatics analysis performed using peripheral blood mononuclear samples identified cell-associated genes most significantly altered expression. Expression levels these validated by real-time PCR subsets examined flow cytometry. Putative correlations among clinical laboratory parameters investigated correlation network analysis. Sleep functions equally impaired BMS NBMS. showed reduced memory increased regulatory percentages than NBMS patients. Among that selected bioinformatics, BLK, BLNK, BANK1, FCRL2, TGFB1 KCNS3 different study subgroups. Correlation associations physical-cognitive measures versus expression genes. differ physical but not dysfunction. Different are ratios related gene levels. Thus, it is likely participate MS.

Blood B Cell and Regulatory Subset Content in Multiple Sclerosis Patients

OBJECTIVE B cell targeted therapies have been effective in slowing multiple sclerosis (MS) disease progression suggesting a direct causal link for this lymphoid subset. A small subset of B cells with regulative properties (Bregs) exists in peripheral blood, and induction of Bregs ameliorates experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis (EAE), the murine model for MS. Therefore the frequency of B c...

Toll Like Receptor 2 and 4 Expression in Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells of Multiple Sclerosis Patients

Background: Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a T cell mediated autoimmune disease with unknown etiology. Appropriate MS therapeutic strategies need thorough understanding of both disease etiology and pathogenesis mechanisms. Ligation of TLR-2 and TLR-4 stimulates the production of several cytokines leading to CNS autoimmunity and neurodegenerative diseases. Objective: To find a relationship between M...
