Perifolliculitis Capitis Abscedens Et Suffodiens: A Case Report and Literature Review

Dissecting cellulitis of the scalp is a rare inflammatory disorder unknown etiology. It clinically characterized by formation painful suppurative chronic nodules and abscesses, which are connected fistulae that, although they can be cured, as consequence leave patients with irreversible alopecia. Currently, there only few cases reported in literature. Here we present case 45-year-old patient dissecting scalp, focusing on histopathological findings clinicopathologic correlation.
