Performance Evaluation of Short Packet Communications in NOMA VLC Systems With Imperfect CSI

In this paper, we analyze and evaluate the impacts of imperfect channel state information (CSI) short packet communication (SPC) in a non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) visible light (VLC) system. We consider downlink NOMA VLC system, which one emitting diode (LED) serves two single-photodiode users with estimation error. To end, derive closed-form expression for block error rate (BLER) CSI by using Gaussian Chebyshev quadrature method, from expressions reliability, latency, throughput are carried out. Then, compare performance SPC system to that OMA The results show SPC-NOMA outperforms SPC-OMA all power allocation strategies errors. examine impact successive interference cancellation (SIC) at near user choosing LED semi-angle on throughput. Furthermore, use functional-iteration-based one-dimensional search method get maximum while guaranteeing certain far user.
