In this work, performance analysis and comparison of three photovoltaic technologies are carried out in the Louisiana climate. During calendar year 2018, University at Lafayette constructed commissioned a 1.1 MW solar power plant for researching southern partial energy demand university. It was one largest plants when receives an annual insolation 4.88 kWh/m2/d latitude minus five degrees (25°) tilt. The has total 4142 modules incorporates module technologies. Preliminary data from system level presented. evaluation different is based on final yield, ratio, capacity factor September 2019 to August 2020. An economic using levelized cost (PV) Finally, results compared with simulated System Advisor Model (SAM) PVsyst. found that copper indium gallium selenide (CIGS) better ratio 0.79 monocrystalline silicon polycrystalline silicon, which have ratios 0.77 0.73, respectively. simulation correlated actual plant.
