Performance analysis of real-time PSO tuned PI controller for regulating voltage and frequency in an AC microgrid

<p>In this study, a control strategy based on the self-tuning method and synchronous reference frame (SRF) with PI regulator is proposed to achieve optimum quality of power in an autonomous micro grid (MG). The MGS multiple distributed generation (DG) connected 120 kV grid. system first simulated fixed gain values for controller which are not optimal sudden changes i.e. transition MG islanding mode, load variations. So, particle swarm optimization (PSO) has been utilized tuning parameters ensure flexible performance superior power. principal considered study are, regulation voltage frequency, steady-state dynamic response harmonic distortion, mainly when microgrid islanded. PI-PSO compared by simulating AC MATLAB/Simulink environment. Summarized results provided authenticate viability arrangement. performs intelligently while regulating frequency utility system.</p><div> </div>
