PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS OF ECCENTRIC PORTAL BRACING TO VERTICAL AND HORIZONTAL LINK CLASSIFICATION

Indonesia, which has tectonic conditions in the form of a large meeting point world's plates and several small plates, makes region Indonesia center earthquake occurrences earthquake-resistant buildings are an absolute necessity. Eccentrically Braced Frames (EBFs) model steel building structures that can limit inelastic behavior only to link elements, where use these links, especially replaceable facilitate post-earthquake repairs without having reconstruct main building. This study will analyze stability, behavior, performance levels, energy dissipation capabilities six EBF models by combining vertical horizontal configurations for different height classifications, namely low, medium, high buildings. Analysis uses Response Spectrum Pushover methods with help structural analysis software.
