Performance Analysis in Quantitative Traits of Local Chickens (Gallus gallus sp.) In Kediri Regency East Java

This study aimed to determine the phenotypic diversity of quantitative characteristics and results analysis kinship relationships local chickens in Kediri by using 60 adult male chickens. Data were obtained directly observing according variables: head length, chest-length, wing length from right left, shank back neck circumference, chest circumference. The showed that majority phenotypes Kediri, consisting; a 52.1cm, 8.58cm, 28.8cm, 12.4cm, 25.35cm, circumference 13.98cm, 40.4cm. It can be concluded have variety characteristics, average for each sub-district are not much different others. is hoped this used as primary data further research quality superior breeding selection.
