<p><span>Optical burst switching (OBS) is a transporting network for the optical internet in years ahead vision. As OBS depends on statistical multiplexing, effect of contention resolution main issue to achieve low probability losing burst. Basically, there are different ways resolve contentions networks like wavelength conversion, deflection routing, segmentation and buffering using fiber delay lines. Burst routing as well lines technologies, discussed among various accessible conflict techniques this study. However, aim study demonstrate that, performance line (FDL) better than other by comparing these schemes based probabilities data handling capability. To evaluate performance, appropriate mathematical formulae were used. Under MATLAB environment, was measured loss versus incoming traffic (load). The outcomes suggest that outperforms terms contention. </span></p>
