چکیده

Abstract Background Identifying predictors of treatment outcome can guide selection and optimize use resources. In patients affected by obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), perfectionism has emerged as one possible predictor, with some data suggesting that cognitive-behavioral therapy outcomes are poorer for more perfectionistic patients. Findings so far inconsistent, however, research yet to be extended newer approaches. Methods We administered measures concern over mistakes, clinical perfectionism, well OCD depression symptom severity a sample in out-patient group treatments ( N = 61), namely, metacognitive training (MCT-OCD) or mindfulness-based cognitive (MBCT) OCD. Hierarchical time was submitted multi-level analysis. Results Neither mistakes nor at baseline predicted symptoms across points. However, did significantly predict comorbid depressive symptoms. Furthermore, exploratory analysis revealed change during predictor follow-up. Conclusion These results suggest initial may not prevent from benefitting third-wave treatments. Change present putative process therapeutic change. Limitations avenues future discussed.
