Perbandingan Pemikiran Al-Ghazali dan Ibnu Taimiyah Tentang Amar Ma’ruf Nahi Munkar

This research is a study of the Islamic thought two figures, namely Al-Gazhali and Ibn Taimiyah, regarding calling for good preventing from bad (amar ma'ruf nahi munkar). motivated by difference in thinking scholars Seeing this phenomenon, reassessment amar munkar very important urgent to do. The questions are: how al-Gazhali Taimiyah think about munkar; do figures differ their thoughts on munkar? aims describe munkar, looking differences similarities between two. literature-based research. method used qualitative descriptive method. results showed that practice (especially munkar) compiled was carried out stages, starting mild stage such as notifying perpetrators mundane, more violent or decisive threatening even hitting.
