Peranan Koperasi Dalam Pengembangan Sistem Agribisnis Kakao (Studi Kasus: Koperasi Perkebunan Kakao Bireuen)

There is still great potential for the development of cocoa plants in Kabupaten Bireuen a opportunity to improve agribusiness sustainable, one them through institutional roles. However, government has several problems running system starting from upstream subsystem support services. Problems and farming, namely farmers have not been able fully implement frequent harvest system, pruning, sanitizing fertilizing (PsPSP) as well fermentation. Even though Cocoa Plantation Cooperative provided trainings related PsPSP This study aims determine find out role that carried so far. The sample criteria this were 34 who active members Cooperative. Data analysis used qualitative descriptive method with data measurement using Likert scale. results showed Bireuennot integrated, while general cooperatives large an index value 69.92%.The aid distribution activities categorized 73.94%,training big category 79.65%, mentoring 67.12% collection small 58.97%.
