Pengolahan Limbah Plastik Jenis Polypropylene (PP) dan Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE) Menjadi Bahan Bakar Cair Melalui Proses Catalytic Thermal Cracking Menggunakan Katalis FCC

Setiap tahunnya penggunaan plastik yang semakin meningkat mengakibatkan jumlah sampah sulit terurai tinggi. Upaya mengelola melalui penimbunan dan pembakaran dinilai kurang tepat berdampak buruk bagi lingkungan. Proses Catalytic Thermal Cracking (CTC) merupakan metode menguntungkan untuk mengolah limbah menjadi bahan bakar cair. Pada penelitian ini, pengolahan jenis Polypropylene Low Density Polyethylene cair CatalytIc berlangsung pada temperatur CTC 200 oC, 350 300 oC 400oC dengan katalis FCC sebanyak 10%. Tujuan dari ini adalah mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh terhadap % yield, sifat fisik komposisi senyawa diperoleh. Dari dilakukan, didapat optimum yaitu 400 yield produk tertinggi sebesar 30,29 nilai Density, oApi Gravity, Viscosity Calorific Value masing-masing yaitu: 0,7536 gr/ml, 0,8010 cSt 11.206 Kcal/Kg. Sedangkan 23,09 0,7508 0,9856 11.215
