Pengaruh Ukuran Mata Jaring Bottom Gill Net Di Perairan Ohoi Namar Kabupaten Maluku Tenggara

Pemanfaatan sumberdaya ikan di Perairan Maluku Tenggara menggunakan alat tangkap salah satunya bottom gill net. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui komposisi jenis yang tertangkap dengan mesh size jarring insang dasar berbeda dan ukuran efektif. Metode digunakan dalam penelitian adalah metode experimental fishing yakni mata 2,5 inci 3 inci, serta analisis data uji paired sample t test. Ada lima hasil tangkapan diperoleh pada jaring yaitu Bubara (Carangoides bajad) berjumlah 54 ekor (22,41%), Kakatua (Skarus dimidiatus) 46 (18,67 %), Samandar (Siganus canaliculatus 35 (14,52 Sikuda (Lethrinus atkinsoni)39 (12,45 %) Biji Nangka (Parupeneus indikus) 24 (9,96 %). Ukuran mendapatkan 27 (30,58 14 (15,91 13 (14,77%), canaliculatus) 11 (12,50 Pasir-pasir (Pentapodus nagascokiensis) 6 (6,62 Total keseluruhan berat memperoleh total sebesar 49.731,44 gram rata-rata per operasi 4.521,04 gram, sedangkan mezh 21.615,51 rata 1.965,05 gram. Berdasarkan sampel t-test menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan penggunaan terhadap tangkapan, dimana jumlah didapatkan perlakuan lebih banyak dibandingkan berarti hipotesis H1 diterima Hₒ ditolak.
