The use of organic matter, which has a long-term impact, increases soil fertility because it contains residue. research examines how rice straw mulch and fertilizer residue affect glutinous corn yield. This study was carried out at the Faculty Agriculture Field Laboratory, Halu Oleo University, from May to August 2022. Experiment used randomized block design with split plot design. main plot, i.e. (M): without (M0), 4 t ha-1 (M1), 8 (M2). Subplot, plus (P): (P0), 2,5 (P1), 5 (P2), 7,5 (P3). length cob measured husk, fresh weight husk dry number seeds per cob, seed 100 seeds, After conducting an ANOVA analysis data, proceed DMRT significant level 95% if yields effect (Fhit> Ftab). results showed that significantly affected yield components (M2) deposition (P3) produce highest yield, 2,38 2,34 or increasing 92% 75% compared treatment. For efficiency costs realizing sustainable agriculture, is necessary utilize residues material in cultivation food crops.
