This research aims to determine the effect of career development on teacher work achievement at SMP Negeri 47 Palembang. The population in this study were all teachers Palembang using a sample 41 respondents. data collection method used was obtained from questionnaire. analysis technique is simple linear regression analysis. tested validity test, reliability correlation coefficient (r) and determination (R2), as well hypothesis testing or t test. test carried out statistical package for social science (SPSS) version 21. Based results analysis, it concluded that had positive significant Palembang.
