Katuk leaves contain chemicals in the form of alkaloids, triterpenoids, saponins, tannins, polyphenols, glycosides and flavonoids, so they are widely used as antioxidants. One factor can affect chemical content yield extract is drying method. The purpose this study was to determine effect different methods on katuk leaf extract. This research method experimental Posttest Only Design. were dried using wind, oven, sun continued by maceration with ethanol 96% solvent. macerate filtered air-dried thick which calculated tested tannins terpenoids. Yield data analysis carried out Way ANOVA test. average value wind-dry 11.86±0.23%, 12.26±0.70%, oven 13.64±0.74%. test showed significant differences wind drying, drying. Phytochemical screening each presence triterpenoids. conclusion that affects but has no content.
