This study aimed to determine the obstacles handicraft SMEs face in business development and analyze strategy of small medium industries with an internet approach. The sample this research is Handicraft IKM entrepreneurs districts/cities Jambi Province. data collection tool interview guides both craft actors critical respondents. types required are primary secondary data. Preliminary were collected utilizing interviews direct observation SMI actors, while was obtained from literature reports related institutions. information processed using qualitative processing methods, then further analyzed develop priorities for company. analytical tools used Internal Analysis, SWOT Matrix. results concluded that marketing approach could be done by: 1) through form websites, social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram), marketplace; 2) excellent service; 3) simplify administrative process; 4) create easy hints; 5) Provide affordable fees; 6) Immediately respond complaints complaints.
