Draft Genome Sequence of Erwinia billingiae OSU19-1, Isolated from a Pear Tree Canker
Plant-associated Erwinia include pathogenic and nonpathogenic species. We report the 5.6-Mb genome sequence of Erwinia billingiae OSU19-1, isolated from a canker on a pear tree inoculated with Erwinia amylovora. OSU19-1 and a closely related European isolate, E. billingiae Eb661(T), share many similarities including 40 kb of plasmid sequence.
متن کاملComplete DNA Sequence of Pseudomonas syringae pv. actinidiae, the Causal Agent of Kiwifruit Canker Disease
Pseudomonas syringae pv. actinidiae is the causal agent of bacterial canker of kiwifruit, a disease that has rapidly spread worldwide. We have fully sequenced and assembled the chromosomal and plasmid DNA from P. syringae pv. actinidiae ICMP 18884 using the PacBio RS II platform.
متن کاملThe Role of Image Enhancement in Citrus Canker Disease Detection
Digital image processing is employed in numerous areas of biology to identify and analyse problems. This approach aims to use image processing techniques for citrus canker disease detection through leaf inspection. Citrus canker is a severe bacterium-based citrus plant disease. The symptoms of citrus canker disease typically occur in the leaves, branches, fruits and thorns. The leaf images show...
متن کاملMorphological, pathological and molecular variability in Botryodiplodia theobromae (Botryosphaeriaceae) isolates associated with die-back and bark canker of pear trees in Punjab, India.
Thirteen isolates of Botryodiplodia theobromae collected from pear varieties grown in various regions of Punjab were studied for morphological, pathological and molecular characterization. The mycelial growth of B. theobromae isolates was classified as fluffy or depressed, uniform to irregular and cottony white turning to black. Colony growth rate varied from 19.1 to 24.9 mm per day. Pycnidia w...
متن کاملBlister aneurysms.
Blister aneurysms (BA) are rare lesions characterized by a hemispherical shape and fragile walls. Several reports have described BA as aneurysms arising from non-branching sites from the dorsomedial wall of the internal carotid artery (ICA).[1-3] There are very few reports of such aneurysms at other sites such as anterior communicating (AComA) and basilar artery.[4] As was report by Seo et al,[...
