PD-5 IDH1 in intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma: A comparative genomic analysis and clinical impact

چکیده
IDH1-mutated cholangiocarcinomas (CCAs) are an interesting group of neoplasia with particular behavior and therapeutic implications. The aim the present work is to highlight differences characterizing IDH1m IDH1wt CCAs in terms genomic landscape. 284 patients iCCA treated for resectable, locally advanced or metastatic disease were selected studied FOUNDATION Cdx technology. A comparative analysis survival analyses most relevant altered genes performed between patients. Overall, 125 122 IDH1wt. showed higher mutation rates compared CDKN2B lower several including TP53, FGFR2, BRCA2, ATM, MAP3K1, NOTCH2, ZNF703, CCND1, NBN, NF1, MAP3KI3, RAD21. At analysis, no statistically outcomes, but a trend favor was observed. Differences prognostic values common reported. In surgical setting, presence CDKN2A mutations negatively impact DFS, whereas CDKN2A, CDKN2B, PBRM1 OS. group, KRAS/NRAS TP53 PFS, PIK3CA OS; only MTAP We highlighted molecular distinct implications

Intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma and encephalomalacia in a budgerigar (Melopsittacus undulatus)
Encephalomalacia is softening or loss of brain tissue following cerebral infarction; cerebral ischemia infection, craniocerebral trauma or other injuries. Cholangiocarcinomas are malignant neoplasms of biliary epithelium, which usually arise from the intrahepatic ducts. A budgerigar was presented with a history of ataxia, decreased activity, neck weakness and weight loss. Supportive care was at...
متن کاملPD-L1 expression in perihilar and intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma
Cholangiocarcinoma is an aggressive biliary neoplasm lacking effective therapeutic agents. Immunotherapies targeting the PD-L1/PD-1 immune checkpoint have shown encouraging results in solid and hematologic cancers in clinical trials. Response to these immunomodulators is correlated with PD-L1 expression. Our goal was to characterize PD-L1 expression in intra-hepatic (iCCA) and perihilar (pCCA) ...
متن کاملClinical Diagnosis and Staging of Intrahepatic Cholangiocarcinoma.
Intrahepatic cholangiocarcinomas are the second most common primary liver malignancies with an increasing incidence over the past decades. Due to a lack of early symptoms and their aggressive oncobiological behavior, the diagnostic approach is challenging and the outcome remains unsatisfactory with a poor prognosis. Thus, a consistent staging system for a comparison between different therapeuti...
متن کاملIntrahepatic Cholangiocarcinoma: Clinical Aspects, Pathology and Treatment
Intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (ICC) is the second most common primary tumor of the liver. To further define its clinicopathology and surgical management, we reviewed our experience. Clinical presentations of 32 patients with ICC was similar to that with hepatocellular carcinoma. Jaundice occurred in only 27 percent. ICC was unresectable due to advanced disease stage in 81 percent. Six patient...
متن کاملGenetic Alterations in Intrahepatic Cholangiocarcinoma as revealed by Degenerate Oligonucleotide Primed PCR-Comparative Genomic Hybridization
Intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (ICC), a malignant neoplasm of the biliary epithelium,is usually fatal because of difficulty in early diagnosis and lack of availability of effective therapy. The genetic mechanisms involved in the development of ICC are not well understood and only a few cytogenetic studies of ICC have been published. Recently, technique of degenerate oligonucleotide primed (DOP...
