Patterns of Sacred Spaces in the Settlement with Religious Plurality: Balun Village, Lamongan

Plurality in religion is one of the absolute realities social reality that inevitable. Religious plurality a challenge to create harmony religious life and, on other hand, vulnerable source conflict and disputes by various parties. This study explores pattern space structure settlements Balun village, Lamongan Regency. Using structuralist approach (Levi-Strauss) activities (1) pragmatic (contextual/technical), (2) syntactic (pattern/layout), (3) semantic (perception) about space, form sign explore sacred with aspects studied, namely structure, territory spatial dynamics worship micro, meso macro scale. Data was collected through direct observation in-depth interviews systematic purposive sampling.
