Objetivo: Discorrer sobre as patologias bucais relacionadas com o tabagismo, visando contribuir para incentivo à promoção da saúde e qualidade de vida das pessoas. Revisão bibliográfica: O tabagismo é considerado um fator risco diversas doenças bucais, como câncer bucal, doença periodontal estomatite nicotínica. uso crônico do tabaco pode levar perda tecido dentário prejudicar a cicatrização periodontal, além diminuir os resultados tratamento periodontal. cirurgião-dentista tem papel importante na orientação dos pacientes riscos prejuízos bucal deve incentivar adoção práticas saudáveis. Considerações finais: É todos profissionais orientar seus adotarem hábitos saudáveis buscar diagnóstico precoce lesões, fim controlar progressão bucais.
