Patients’ quality of life assessment following treatment of leg length discrepancy in a single center in Riyadh

Objectives: Length disparities of children’s limbs might make it difficult for them to engage in social, recreational, and leisure activities. The main goals surgical treatment limb length discrepancy (LLD) are restore function prevent adverse social effects. aim this study was assess the quality life (QoL) children who received therapy discrepancies. Methods: Twenty participants fit inclusion criteria completed validated translated version electronic questionnaire brief world health organization QoL assessment (WHO-QoL-BREF). Answering administered by an interviewer over phone. comprised basic patient information questions regarding QoL. Results: There were 12 male eight females. total WHO-QoL BREF score is 94.15 ± 10.01 (out 125). differences between mean scores all domains according participants’ demographic, distortion, variables insignificant. Conclusion: Ensuring improvement after LLD crucial. More attention must be paid selecting appropriate procedure suitable when treating LLD.
