Pathways and Potentials for III–V on Si Tandem Solar Cells Realized Using a ZnO-Based Transparent Conductive Adhesive

This work presents a new type of transparent conductive adhesive and its electrical optical properties with regards to an application in III–V on Silicon tandem solar cells. The developed is based doped ZnO deposited by spray coating. interconnection the two sub-cells identified as one major challenges due reflectance at bond possible approaches reduce are investigated simulations. Regarding interconnection, ITO-based contact layer reduced lowest measured connecting resistivity from previously 17 ?·cm² [1] down 0.12 ?·cm². It shown that homogeneity correlates conductivity can be improved adjusting glueing process according calcination adhesive. Taking both parameters into account, efficiency triple junction cell was estimated.
