Pathogenetic significance of transforming growth factor β1 in patients with colorectal cancer

نویسندگان

چکیده

Aim. We aimed to evaluate levels of transforming growth factor β1 (TGF-β1) in the serum, lymph nodes, and primary tumour patients with colorectal cancer. Materials Methods. Here we enrolled 44 cancer 25 benign tumours colon admitted Chita Regional Cancer Centre 2019-2020. The control group included injury. concentration TGF-β1 homogenate was measured by flow cytometry (CytoFlex LX analyzer LEGENDplex HU multiplex analysis kit). Results. Serum level 1.58-fold lower than those 1.38-fold group. In contrast, tumor tissue 5.91 (3.86; 7.81) fold higher injured colonic from group, although there were no statistically significant differences between cancerous neoplasms. Conclusion. is increased but reduced serum

Transforming Growth Factor Beta-1 in Human Colorectal Cancer Patients

Aim: Colorectal cancer patients are treated with surgery and sometimes radiotherapy and chemotherapy. Transforming growth factor beta-1 (TGF-β1) acts both as an inhibitor of tumor growth and as a promoter of tumor progression. The aim of this study was to determine the levels of TGF-β1 in plasma in colorectal cancer patients and relate these to the effect of clinicopathological variables. Metho...

Expression and significance of transforming growth factor-β1 in epithelial ovarian cancer and its extracellular matrix

The aim of the present study was to investigate the expression and significance of transforming growth factor-β1 (TGF-β1) in the cytoplasm and extracellular matrix (ECM) of epithelial ovarian cancer cells. The expression of TGF-β1 protein was detected in paraffin-embedded sections of 25 normal ovarian epithelial tissues, 10 benign epithelial cysts and 72 epithelial ovarian cancer specimens, usi...

Transforming growth factor-β1 contributes to oxaliplatin resistance in colorectal cancer via epithelial to mesenchymal transition

Transforming growth factor-β1 (TGF-β1), secreted by main components of tumor microenvironment, is considered to be closely associated with cancer development and chemoresistance. The present study aimed to analyze the effects and mechanisms underlying TGF-β1-induced chemoresistance to oxaliplatin (LOH) in human colorectal cancer (CRC) cell lines. The cytotoxic effects of LOH subsequent to TGF-β...

Transforming growth factor-β1 in plaque morphea

INTRODUCTION Morphea (localized scleroderma) is a rare cutaneous disease characterized by skin fibrosis of unknown pathogenesis. Transforming growth factor-β (TGF-β) is a potent profibrotic factor. The role of TGF-β in morphea remains unclear. AIM The goal of this study was to estimate the expression level of TGF-β1 in skin and peripheral blood mononuclear cells as well as the plasma levels o...
