mortality forecasting based on lee-carter model
over the past decades a number of approaches have been applied for forecasting mortality. in 1992, a new method for long-run forecast of the level and age pattern of mortality was published by lee and carter. this method was welcomed by many authors so it was extended through a wider class of generalized, parametric and nonlinear model. this model represents one of the most influential recent d...

We propose a path loss model with an over-roof propagation path between mobile terminals in residential areas. A double knife-edge diffraction model shows that over-roof propagation loss can be accurately estimated. Measurement results confirm the estimation accuracy of the new model.
متن کاملPropagation Models for GSM 900 and 1800 MHz for Port Harcourt and Enugu, Nigeria
For the cellular networks to effectively cover a terrain or environment, accurate prediction of the coverage of the radio frequency signal is highly needed. Wave propagation models are essential and very important tools for determining the wave propagation characteristics for a particular environment. Path loss predictions are therefore required for the coverage planning, determination of multi...
متن کاملComparative Analysis of Propagation Path loss Models with Field Measured Data
Abstract –The propagation path loss models may give different results if they are used in different environment other than in which they were designed. In this paper we compare the different path loss propagation models with measured field data. For comparative analysis we use the log distance path loss model, Stanford University Interim (SUI) Model, Hata model, Okumura’s Model, COST231 Extensi...
متن کاملMacro-cell Path Loss Prediction, Calibration, and Optimization by Lee’s Model for South of Amman City, Jordan at 900, and 1800 Mhz
This paper addresses a path loss prediction and optimization by means of Lee’s model for Jiza town, south of Amman city, Jordan. Data were collected from mobile companies in Jordan in the frequency band of 900, and 1800 MHz. The calibrated Lee’s, Hata, and Egli’s path loss models were compared with respect to the original collected data. It is found that for the 900 MHz Lee’s prediction model h...
