Background Three parenting styles still form the foundation for today’s research into childhood development. The natural mode of falls somewhere among Baumrind’s (authoritative, authoritarian, and permissive). Due to lack that integrates relationship between socioeconomic status in Saudi Arabia, we decided study different types their with sociodemographic status. Methods A descriptive cross-sectional community-based was conducted 496 parents. structured questionnaire used collect data. Parenting Style Dimension Questionnaire (PSDQ) identify style each participant. Data were analyzed using Epi Info software version 7.2.5 (Centers Disease Control Prevention, Atlanta, GA, USA). Results Among surveyed parents, there 250 (50.4%) males, mean age 36.7 (±10.6) years. majority (390, 78.6%) live a nuclear family size ranging from four six members (285, 57.5%). total 451 (90.9%) educated secondary school above.
