Parental socioeconomic status and age at leaving home in Europe: Exploring regional differences

Leaving the parental home is a milestone in young people's transition to adulthood. The timing of leaving varies greatly across European countries; however, evidence on association between socioeconomic status (SES) and age at comparative perspective mixed, subnational variation has received little attention. module life events included Round 3 (2006) 9 (2018) Social Survey offers opportunity study how SES associated with home, this national regional level for sample respondents born 1950s 1980s 175 regions 29 countries.
