Objective: The paraoxonase 1 (PON-1) enzyme is an important antioxidant. balance between oxidative stress and antioxidant defense mechanisms disturbed during asthma attacks. activity of the PON-1 related to gene polymorphism. This study aimed evaluate Q192R polymorphism in asthmatic children. Material methods: During 2013-2014 period, we performed a prospective with 34 (study group) healthy (control Serum was evaluated group at onset attack end, also control group. children, which known affect investigated. Results: There no significant difference terms serum children controls. However, increase observed end compared its onset.
