A consistent Steiglitz-McBride algorithm
An on-line version of the Steiglitz-McBride algorithm that is consistent in the presence of colored noise is proposed. In addition, a proof of local convergence of the new algorithm is provided. Some computer simulations are included showing that the consistent Steiglitz-McBride algorithm is useful for IIR adaptive filtering when the measurement noise is colored.
متن کاملNew adaptive IIR filtering algorithms based on the Steiglitz-McBride method
This correspondence introduces a family of algorithms based on the Steiglitz–McBride (SM) method for adaptive IIR filtering. The main feature of the proposed algorithms is to remove the parameter bias induced by colored measurement noise. The conceptual similarities between the SM method and the equation error (EE) method are explored in order to analyze some properties of the new algorithms. T...
متن کاملSystem Identification Based on Frequency Response Noisy Data
In this paper, a new algorithm for system identification based on frequency response is presented. In this method, given a set of magnitudes and phases of the system transfer function in a set of discrete frequencies, a system of linear equations is derived which has a unique and exact solution for the coefficients of the transfer function provided that the data is noise-free and the degrees of...

متن کاملA Complex Adaptive Notch Filter Based on the Steiglitz-mcbride Method
This paper propose a new complex adaptive notch Þlter (ANF) structure based on the Steiglitz-McBride (SM) method. Recursive least square (RLS) algorithm is applied to the proposed ANF with optimized stepsize. Simulations show that RLS-SM ANF converges fast and requires less computational complexity than the conventional ANF using recursive prediction error (RPE) algorithm.
