Pancreatic cancer, despite significant medical advances, is still a clinical problem. This article focuses on discussing risk factors, diagnostic methods, and treatment options. These elements are crucial in making prompt diagnosis initiating treatment. On average, physician primary care sees patient with undiagnosed pancreatic cancer once every few years. Knowing the underlying symptoms referring to an appropriate center can significantly increase survival. Diagnostic methods include physical examination, numerous imaging techniques, determination of tumor markers serum. Surgical combined adjuvant chemotherapy only chance cure for patients qualified surgery. However, most experience recurrence. When recurs, these unresectable disease palliative chemotherapy. Numerous studies currently underway improve methods.
