Abstract Indonesia is a country which has plants species diversity. The form of ancient that grew in the past are recorded as fossil woods. Several woods from regions were collected and became exhibition collections at Bandung Geological Museum. These on display requires biology identity to provide more information visitors. Identification carried out based anatomical features smoothed cross-section. Observations by loop hand (a magnification 10 times digital (with 16 times). anatomy observed included vessel cells, parenchyma rays presence resin channels. specimen had unclear compared detailed description wood available library samples owned Xylarium Bogoriense. Canarioxylon sp., Terminalioxylon Anisopteroxylon Dipterocarpoxylon Dryobalanoxylon Hopenium/Hopeoxylon Shoreoxylon Kompassioxylon Xanthophyllum sp. mostly resvectively belonging Dipterocarpaceae, Combretaceae, Polygalaceae, Burseraceae, Leguminosae. member Dipterocarpaceae family conspicuously characterized with canals.
