PA1111/BaTiO3 nanocomposites with surprisingly enhanced piezoelectricity at low filler content via in-situ compositing process

A series of PA1111/BaTiO3 nanocomposites with different BaTiO3 contents are prepared by the in-situ salification-melt polymerization procedure. The morphological, spectroscopic studies and property characterization conducted. results indicate that proposed compositing method can effectively disperse nanoparticles in PA1111 matrix, as-prepared exhibit improved dielectric piezoelectric properties as content up. For nanocomposite 10 wt% BaTiO3, compared neat PA1111, d33 g33 is increased 1.6 1.4 times, respectively. procedure present high piezoelectricity enhancement efficiency, which attributed to uniform particle dispersion matrix endowed secondary interaction between organic inorganic components. This work not only helps broaden application field but also provides a facile energy-saving modifier-free for preparation polymer-based nanocomposites.
