چکیده
Abstract A 53–year–old male patient with no significant past medical history and familiar for cardiac diseases presented to the emergency department asymptomatic bradycardia. The ECG showed complete atrioventricular block in absence of pathological findings on echocardiogram coronary lesions were found angiography. underwent pacemaker (PM) implantation. few months later suffered from arrest sustained ventricular tachycardia, effectively treated DC shock. mild right dilation dysfunction regional wall motion abnormalities, especially subtricuspid site. Cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) focal areas delayed enhancement a non–ischaemic pattern distribution hook sign, highly suggestive sarcoidosis. FDG PET cardiac, hepatic, splenic, lymph nodal uptake. In suspicion systemic sarcoidosis, an hepatic biopsy was performed, being liver most accessible histological examination presence non–caseating granulomas. Therefore, diagnosis Systemic Sarcoidosis (SS) involvement made PM upgraded CRT–D secondary prevention. discharged cortisone therapy. Three after discharge, new total body PET–CT scan performed showed, comparison previous one, hypermetabolism bone fields. sarcoidosis (CS) is rare inflammatory granulomatous myocardial disease unknown etiology that should be suspected young patients conduction disturbances complex arrhythmias. diagnostic approach challenging: techniques (MRI, PET) can CS but demonstration non–caseous granuloma mandatory. Endomyocardial (which has suboptimal sensitivity due lesion) could avoided if there more less invasive extracardiac site biopsy. Early relies multidisciplinary collaboration essential staging long–term management prevention sudden death. Cortisone therapy remains mainstay treatment.

Primary Cardiac Lymphoma Presenting With Atrioventricular Block
Primary cardiac lymphomas (PCL) are extremely rare. Clinical manifestations may be variable and are attributed to location. Here, we report on a case of PCL presenting with atrioventricular (AV) block. A 55 year-old male had experienced chest discomfort with unexplained dyspnea and night sweating. His initial electrocardiogram (ECG) revealed a first degree AV block. Along with worsening chest d...
متن کاملA Case report of hemodynamic instability, cardiac arrest, and acute severe dyspnea subsequent to inhalation of crystal methamphetamine
Misuse of stimulants similar to amphetamine is a universal problem. These stimulants cause many complications in their abusers. However, myocardial infarction is rarely reported as a complication of amphetamine abuse. Herein, we report a man aged 42 years presented at the Emergency Department with the chief complaint of acute dyspnea following ice inhalation without history of dyspnea. Within t...
متن کاملCardiac Sarcoidosis Presenting With Complete Atrioventricular Block and Sustained Monomorphic Ventricular Tachycardia
Sarcoidosis is a rare but potentially fatal multisystem granulomatous disease of unknown etiology. While a number of clinical manifestations may develop, cardiac involvement (prior to or coincident with sarcoidosis of other organs) is an important prognostic factor. Recently, we encountered a patient with cardiac sarcoidosis who presented with complete atrioventricular (AV) block and sustained ...

INTRODUCTION Sarcoidosis is a multi-systemic disorder involving various organ systems. Though cardiac involvement is uncommon it can present as life threatening arrhythmias and sudden death. CASE PRESENTATION Here we present 27 years old married female with a series of arrhythmias with no initially obvious aetiology. On further evaluation she was diagnosed as having cardiac sarcoidosis. متن کاملHypereosinophilic Cardiac Involvement Presenting With Left Ventricular Massive Thrombus and Cardioembolic Stroke: A Case Report
Introduction: It is well known that the tendency toward thrombosis is increased in cancer patients. The increase in cancer procoagulant and tissue factor levels, endothelial damage, and stasis due to compression are among the most accused causes of thrombosis in cancer patients. Hypereosinophilia is a rare condition that causes endothelial damage leading to thrombosis. <s...
