چکیده
Abstract Background Intestinal Behçet's disease (BD) is a relapsing-remitting typically associated with punched-out ulcers in the ileocecal region. Optimal monitoring of activity necessary; however, ileocolonoscopy cannot be performed on regular basis as it invasive, resource-intensive and causes considerable patient discomfort. Furthermore, there are risks intestinal bleeding perforation caused by pretreatment laxatives air insufflation during examination. Hence, other follow-up examinations required. ultrasonography (IUS) minimally invasive imaging method, but no previous reports comparisons between IUS endoscopy for BD. This study aimed to evaluate usefulness assessing Methods retrospective single-centre included patients BD who underwent colonoscopy within 2 weeks, from 2007 2020. Correlations corresponding endoscopic using Sakita–Miwa classification six variables (bowel wall thickness [BWT], vascularity, bowel stratification, intramural extramural abscesses, fistulas mesenteric lymphadenopathy) were assessed used select that should new simple score. findings also compared biomarker (C-reactive protein [CRP]) concentrations clinical severity indices (Crohn’s index [DAIBD]). Results Seventy-nine 53 included. Univariate analysis revealed CRP DAIBD BWT, vascularity stratification abscesses differed significantly according ulcer activity. Multivariate logistic regression model only BWT statistically different; therefore, score ([2*BWT] + [5*vascularity]) was constructed. Receiver operating characteristic curve an area under 0.91 detecting activity, which superior those (0.80; P=0.069), Crohn’s (0.69; P=0.002) (0.67; P<0.001). Conclusion A ultrasound comprising constructed correlated well first report describing BD, we believe will have many implications practice.

Final validation of a new composite disease activity score for juvenile idiopathic arthritis: the Juvenile Arthritis Disease Activity Score (JADAS)
Materials and methods The JADAS is composed of the following measures: 1) physician's global assessment (0–10); 2) parent's global assessment (0–10); 3) active joint count (assessed in 71, 27 or 10 joints); 4) ESR (normalized to 0–10). It yields a score ranging from 0 to 40, 57 or 101, depending on whether the whole 71-joint count (JADAS-71) or the 27joint (JADAS-27) or 10-joint (JADAS-10) redu...
