Oxi-P GUI: A Graphical User Interface (GUI) for wastewater treatment process in oxidation pond

The wastewater treatment process is aimed to reduce pollution the appropriate level. An oxidation pond system can treat contaminants in wastewater. Oxidation ponds are use sunlight, bacteria, and algae This study developed an improved mathematical model a graphical user interface (GUI), called oxi-P GUI predict pond. correlation between dissolved oxygen (DO), chemical demand (COD), coliform as well concentrations of phototrophic bacteria (PSB) were examined. In MATLAB software, revised consisting ordinary differential equations (ODEs) set integrating Monod equation was numerically solved utilising fourth order Runge-Kutta method. current model's root mean square error (RMSE) values compared suggested RMSE for validation. offered more accurate estimate than existing changes amount concentration pond, which necessary produce acceptable water quality. A management personnel may track quality determine most effective mechanism. Additionally, this user-friendly will give better understanding about process, especially people with less programming skills.
