The pharmaceutical industry and most particularly the biopharmaceutical are demanding advancements in analytical techniques. field of proteomics peptide mapping needs sensitive analysis sophisticated instrumentation, which hyphenated techniques to be explored. In addition effective detection characterization, Due efficient selective separation, predominant focus has been drawn capillary electrophoresis/mass spectrometry (CE/MS) compared widely used such as slab-gel electrophoresis (SGE), liquid chromatography (LC) (CE) Several significant advances CE/MS instrumentation software have made a competitive tool last decade solve wide variety problems. This discusses technological aspects CE / MS interfaces, separation modes, analyzer, recent approaches applications specific biopharmaceutical. Applications using some more common electrophoretic conventional zone (CZE) isoelectric focusing (CIEF), highlighted. also includes studies on electro-chromatography (CEC) CE-MS applications.
