چکیده
The European Unions' ambition for the construction sector is to be carbon neutral by 2030 new construction. Since 2021, all buildings in EU should have been constructed as nearly zero-energy (nZEB). However, Eastern countries struggle implement 2018 Energy Performance of Building Directive recast requirements. Next economic challenges, equally essential factors hinder renovating existing residential building stock and adding newly high-performance sourced primarily from renewable energy sources. Therefore, this study provides a cross-study identify barriers nZEB implementation ten countries, including Bulgaria, Croatia, Czechia, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Slovakia. was conducted between 2019 2021 an overview prospects Europe. examines challenges plans faced those constructive recommendations. regulations definitions regarding performance, cooling heating demand, thermal comfort, onsite renewables, quality were analyzed. Results show that most are unprepared comply with EPBD guidelines cost-optimality approach. paper ranks each country recommends specific measures refine definitions. thorough comparative assessment benchmarking select geography can help shift identified gaps into opportunities future development climate-neutral buildings.

Development of an Nearly Zero Emission Building (nZEB) Life Cycle Cost Assessment Tool for Fast Decision Making in the Early Design Phase
An economic feasibility optimization method for the life cycle cost (LCC) has been developed to apply energy saving techniques in the early design stages of a building. The method was developed using default data (e.g., operation schedules), energy consumption prediction equations and cost prediction equations utilizing design variables considered in the early design phase. With certain equatio...

15 صفحه اولnZEB design: challenging between energy and economic targets
Currently nZEB design represents a negotiation between energy targets and economic concerns. Whereby, it is indispensable that, staring from very preliminary phase of the project, a synergy between the building and system designers, the energy consultant and the economic valuer is set up. Cost-optimal methodology together with statistical analyses developed with Minitab software was applied to ...
متن کاملTowards Nearly Zero Energy Buildings in Europe: A Focus on Retrofit in Non-Residential Buildings
Buildings are the focus of European (EU) policies aimed at a sustainable and competitive low-carbon economy by 2020. Reducing energy consumption of existing buildings and achieving nearly zero energy buildings (NZEBs) are the core of the Energy Efficiency Directive (EED) and the recast of the Energy Performance of Building Directive (EPBD). To comply with these requirements, Member States have ...

This study aims to investigate the fulfillment of four Net Zero Energy Building (NZEB) balances, NZEB-PE, NZEB-site, NZEB-emission and NZEB-cost, considering the four metrics of primary energy (PE), site energy, CO2-eqemissions and energy cost, respectively, using weighting factors based on Finnish and international reference data. The study analyzes five conventional energy systems and seven b...
