Output-Feedback Multi-Loop Positioning Technique via Dual Motor Synchronization Approach for Elevator System Applications

This paper devises an output-feedback multi-loop positioning technique adopting the speed observer and multi-motor synchronizer, targeting dual (master slave) motor elevator system applications, providing three contributions. First, order-reduction continuously extracts information from position measurement, independent of model information. Second, stabilizer accomplishes synchronization tasks for both master slave motors. Third, resultant feedback guarantees to exponentially recover desired first-order transfer function reference actual despite model-plant mismatches. The prototype experimentally validates practical advantages proposed technique.
