Our Laparoscopic Appendectomy a Retrospective Study Experience at Department of Pediatric Surgery MMC Mardan a Multi Center Study

Laparoscopic appendectomy is a minimally invasive surgical procedure used to remove the appendix. It safe and effective that can be performed in children of all ages. We present our experience at Department Pediatric Surgery Mardan Medical Complex (MMC) Mardan, Pakistan. Our study was conducted over period one year, from January December 2018, included total 52 patients who underwent laparoscopic appendectomy. The mean age 10.5 years, with range 5-15 years. operative time 48 minutes, 30-90 minutes. postoperative recovery short, an average only 2 days. data shows for removal appendix pediatric patients. associated shorter hospital stay quicker than open results indicate should preferred method treating appendicitis children.
