This article will provide an overview and analysis of developments in the Dutch Reformed Church’s (DRC) General Synod concerning race, racism, racial reconciliation from 1986 until 2019. It seeks to extend multiple accounts DRC’s adoption rejection apartheid theology by tracing its further attempts at grappling with questions racism during after transition democracy, into present. Three primary discourses are explored, namely search for inclusive ecclesiology, commitment community involvement reconstruction South Africa apartheid, transformation interpersonal ethics towards greater respect care others. Thereafter, highlights four territories that remain largely unexplored within DRC past quarter a century argues their future exploration. These trajectories could contribute deeper conversion white Christianity historically tied DRC.
