Chylopericardium following orthotopic lung transplantation.
Chylopericardium is an uncommon condition, reported to occur following routine cardiac surgery, orthotopic heart transplantation, cardiac trauma, intrathoracic tumors, or infection. متن کاملIdiopathic Hyperammonemia after Orthotopic Lung Transplantation
Idiopathic hyperammonemia is characterized by increased serum ammonia levels (>200umol/L) and is sometimes associated with normal to slightly elevated liver function tests [1]. These patients often present with encephalopathy, cerebral edema, seizures, and coma. Idiopathic hyperammonemia has been reported after high dose chemotherapy, and organ transplants including Orthotopic lung transplant [...
متن کاملNew metastatic model of human small-cell lung cancer by orthotopic transplantation in mice
Small-cell lung cancer (SCLC) is an aggressive cancer with high metastatic ability and novel strategies against the metastasis are urgently needed to improve SCLC treatment. However, the mechanism of metastasis of SCLC remains largely to be elucidated. For further studies of SCLC metastasis, we developed a new orthotopic transplantation model in mice. We established a GFP-labeled subline from t...
