Organisational Culture and Employee Commitment of Academic Staff: The Moderating Effect of Job Satisfaction

Purpose of the article: This study investigated contribution organisational culture to three dimensions commitment (normative, affective and continuance) academic staff as moderated by job satisfaction.Methodology/methods: The adopted quantitative method using a descriptive survey. One hundred seventy-four (174) academics in Lagos, Nigeria selected through non-probabilistic methods participated data was gathered validated questionnaires Cronbach Alpha. Descriptive inferential statistics were employed for analysis.Scientific aim: To ascertain effect on confirm if satisfaction mediates this effect.Findings: It observed from outcome that there is significant positive relationship among variables study. results also showed contributed significantly staff. normative continuance seen be composite just slightly found significant.Conclusions: concluded have impact commitment.
