چکیده
Materials that exhibit visible luminescence upon X-ray irradiation show great potential in the medical and industrial fields. Pure organic materials have recently emerged as promising scintillators for detection radiography, due to their diversified design, low cost, facile preparation. However, recent progress efficient radioluminescence has mainly focused on small molecules, which are inevitably associated with processability repeatability issues. Here, a concise strategy is proposed prepare radioluminescent polymers multiple emission colors from blue yellow high brightness an amorphous state by radical copolymerization of negatively charged polyacrylic acid different positively quaternary phosphonium salts. One obtained exhibits excellent photostability under dosage 27.35 Gy limit 149 nGy s ? 1. This performance superior conventional anthracene-based scintillators. Furthermore, simply drop-casting polymer methanol solution quartz plate, transparent scintillator screen was successfully fabricated imaging resolution 8.7 line pairs mm The pure phosphorescent highly were demonstrated first time, reported herein offers pathway expand application range

4-(Carbazol-9-yl)benzaldehyde could emit yellow RTP, which could last for 3 s because of efficient intersystem crossing. Moreover, multicolor luminescent switches could be realized by simply applying a mechanical force stimulus.

Gadolinium oxysulfide phosphor doped with trivalent terbium have been synthesized using urea homogenous precipitation and followed by sulfurization at 800 °C under argon atmosphere. Structural and morphological of synthesized phosphor powder were characterized by x-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and Fourier transform infrared spectrometry (FT-IR). Hexagonal structure ...
متن کاملAccessing protein conformational ensembles using room-temperature X-ray crystallography.
Modern protein crystal structures are based nearly exclusively on X-ray data collected at cryogenic temperatures (generally 100 K). The cooling process is thought to introduce little bias in the functional interpretation of structural results, because cryogenic temperatures minimally perturb the overall protein backbone fold. In contrast, here we show that flash cooling biases previously hidden...
متن کاملRoom temperature femtosecond X-ray diffraction of photosystem II microcrystals.
Most of the dioxygen on earth is generated by the oxidation of water by photosystem II (PS II) using light from the sun. This light-driven, four-photon reaction is catalyzed by the Mn(4)CaO(5) cluster located at the lumenal side of PS II. Various X-ray studies have been carried out at cryogenic temperatures to understand the intermediate steps involved in the water oxidation mechanism. However,...
متن کاملHydroxy-functionalized hyper-cross-linked ultra-microporous organic polymers for selective CO2 capture at room temperature
Two hydroxy-functionalized hyper-cross-linked ultra-microporous compounds have been synthesized by Friedel-Crafts alkylation reaction and characterised with different spectroscopic techniques. Both compounds exhibit an efficient carbon dioxide uptake over other gases like N2, H2 and O2 at room temperature. A high isosteric heat of adsorption (Qst) has been obtained for both materials because of...
