چکیده

Aplastic anaemia is a severe haematological disorder characterized by an inadequate number of hematopoietic stem cells, resulting in pancytopenia, formed hypocellular bone marrow. Disorders this nature are widely treated with haematopoietic cell transplantation (HSCT). A potential chronic complication following (HSCT) the growth secondary malignancies. Notably, patients suffering from graft versus host disease (cGvHD) to HSCT have been shown be more susceptible oral squamous carcinoma (OSCC). Here, we present rare case 30-year-old Libyan woman for aplastic anaemia, subsequent complications cGvHD and OSCC after few months HSCT. These carcinomatous lesions were detected buccal gingiva retromolar pad area at age 31. The report emphasizes connection between OSCC, appearance any time patient life. Thus, closer follow-up mandatory all who developed cGvHD, efficient prevention therapeutic approaches needed.

Relationship between Molecular Chimerism and Graft Versus Host Disease after Allogenic Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation

Background: Bone marrow transplantation (BMT) is considered as a curative therapy for a broad range of diseases. However, complications such as relapse and graft versus host disease (GVHD) may be observed following BMT. Chimerism analysis serves as a reliable indicator of transplant outcome. Complete chimerism refers to the complete replacement of hematopoietic system by donor cells, while mixe...

Graft versus host disease following allogeneic bone marrow transplantation.

Graft versus host disease is a major barrier in allogeneic bone marrow transplantation. The associated morbidity and mortality need to be understood and prevented if possible, as the potential indications for bone marrow transplantation continue to broaden. Areas of investigation include the cellular effector arm as well as the cytokines associated with the expression of the disease.

Graft versus host disease following liver transplantation: A case report

Graft versus host disease (GVHD) is an uncommon complication following liver transplantation. In the present case report, a 53-year-old male hepatitis B virus carrier was diagnosed with primary liver cancer with post-hepatitis cirrhosis. Preoperative cytomegalovirus (CMV), Epstein-Barr virus, coxsackievirus, herpes simplex virus and autoimmune antibody series were negative. Preoperative human l...

ALLOGENIC BONE MARROW TRANSPLANTATION IN APLASTIC ANEMIA

Eighteen patients, twelve men and six women, with aplastic anemia underwent allogenic bone marrow transplantation (BMT) from HLA-matched siblings during the period of 1990 to 1996. The conditioning regimen was cyclophosphamide with or without busulfan, depending on the cause of aplasia. Antilymphocyte globulin (ALG) and cyclosporine were used for rejection and acute GVHD prophylaxis, respe...

Pediatric lung transplantation for graft-versus-host disease following bone marrow transplantation.

Nine years after receiving a bone marrow transplant for aplastic anemia, a 14-year-old girl with severe pulmonary disease associated with graft-versus-host disease received a double lung transplant. Subsequent to lung transplant, her lung function improved dramatically (FEV1 increasing from 20 to 73 percent predicted normal, residual volume decreasing from 316 to 130 percent predicted normal va...
