Human oral microbiota is the ecological community of commensal, symbiotic, and pathogenic microorganisms found in cavity. Oral generally exists form a biofilm plays crucial role maintaining homeostasis, protecting cavity preventing disease development. has recently become new focus research for promoting progress diagnosis, assisting treatment, developing personalized medicines. In this review, scientific evidence supporting association that endogenous exogenous factors (diet, smoking, drinking, socioeconomic status, antibiotics use pregnancy) modulate microbiota.
