چکیده
Abstract This study aimed to determine the optimum conditions for durian skin biomass absorb copper metal (Cu) from its solution. Determination of includes weight, pH biosorption, biosorption contact time, and initial concentration (Cu). adsorbed analyte used Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry (AAS). In this study, was obtained local waste Parigi Regency, Central Sulawesi Province. The parameters tested were weight adsorbent or powder with variations 50 mg, 70 90 110 120 in time 20 minutes, 40 60 80 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 ppm, 100 150 200 250 ppm adsorption results indicate that absorption by respectively, mg an capacity 99.08%, minutes 98.31%, 5 99.72% 98.92%.

Biosorption of Cd2+ and Cu2+ from aqueous solution using Gracilaria corticata waste biomass
Pollution of aquatic environments by toxic trace metals has been taking place because of discharge of untreated effluents from many industrial processes. Conventional methods used for removing dissolved heavy metal ions from wastewaters have significant disadvantages including incomplete metal removal, requirements for expensive equipment, high energy requirements and generation of toxic sludge...
متن کاملBiosorption of copper from aqueous solution using algal biomass
Sorption experiments using the dead biomass of Spirogyra species, for copper removal were carried out to study the influence and optimization of the biosorption of Cu (II). The effect of pH (1.0 10.0), initial metal ion concentration (1 100ppm), different contact periods (30 180 min), varying temperature (25 – 50 oC) and varying biomass quantities (0.5,1.0,1.5 and 2.0 g) were also examined. It ...
متن کاملSorption of Cu(II), Zn(II) and Ni(II) from aqueous solution using activated carbon prepared from olive stone waste
The performance of olive stone activated carbon (OSAC) for sorption of Cu2+, Zn2+ and Ni2+ ions was investigated via batch technique. OSAC materials were prepared under different physially activation conditions. Olive stone waste was physically activated with N2 gas and steam gas at 900oC at 3.5h hold time (OSAC-3) was choice as the best one for Cu2+, Zn2+ and Ni2+ removal. Characterization for...
