چکیده
Abstract Red Mud is a bauxite solid waste which dangerous for the environment because of its alkalinity (10-13). With very high pH, it can interfere with hydrological conditions areas that are directly affected by mud. Efforts to utilize red mud have use-value been widely carried out. consists Gibbsite, Hematite and Cristobalite. The main ingredients Fe 2 O 3 , Al SiO still be utilized 44.66%, 28.87% 20.21%. as basic material bricks. needs composited other materials does not enough composition get good quality For this reason, in study, was composed clay coconut fiber. Both these known content compared In optimal mud, clay, fiber ash compositions 3: 1.

متن کاملarsenate removal from aqueous solutions using modified red mud (mrm) and pillared clay (pilc) complex
red mud (rm), a waste tailing from alumina production, (as an important environmental problem), can be used as a strong absorbent pollutant. in this study, the modified red mud (mrm) and pillared clay (pilc) were used for the removal of arsenate from water. the modified red mud (mrm) and pilc complex were characterized using xrd, sem and xrf microanalysis. the adsorption of arsenate on modified...
متن کاملAdsorption Rate of 198 Reactive Red Dye from Aqueous Solutions by using Activated Red Mud
Backgroud and purpose: Dye is one of the problems of industrial effluent such as textile industries. The dyes can be removed by various methods. Therefore, the aim of this study was the evaluation of adsorption rate of reactive red 198 from aqueous solution by activated red mud. Materials and methods: This research was a lab study. Activated red mud was used as an adsorbent to remove reactive r...
متن کاملExtraction and characterization of dietary fiber from coconut residue
The present work was conducted to investigate the coconut residue (CR) left after the extraction of coconut milk by subjecting it to physical treatments. Water-washed samples as well as the original samples were analyzed for their chemical composition, soluble dietary fiber (SDF), insoluble dietary fiber (IDF) and total dietary fiber (TDF), and measurements were based on dry matter. Fractionate...
متن کاملAdsorption of Basic Blue 41 from Aqueous Solution onto Coconut Fiber Particles
In this research, adsorption experiments were carried out for removal of Basic Blue 41(BB41) dye from an aqueous solution, using coconut fiber particles (CFP) as a low-cost biosorbent. The characteristics of coconut fiber particles weredeterminedwith a scanning electron microscope (FE-SEM) and Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) techniques. The effects of initial pH, biosorbentdose, contact time,...
