چکیده

The largest ultra?deep (>7000 m) strike?slip fault?controlled oilfield was found in the tight Ordovician carbonates Tarim Basin. Because oil production wells Fuman Oilfield generally have bottom water, a reasonable design is of significant importance for extending water?free recovery period and improving recovery. However, there no economical effective quantitative method to determine capacity corresponding work system stable?production fractured carbonate reservoirs. In this contribution, we integrated dynamic static data different types Oilfield. It that positive relationship between well?controlled reserves productivity, productivity upper limit reserve can be defined as productivity. Further, proposed correlation equation shows stable well from reserve, which obtained by combining test analogous methods. per unit nozzle rational according determined matching nozzle. application results show it not only quickly but also deepen understanding characteristics provides insight allocation new optimize development design, supports 1500 × 104 bbl/year reservoirs along fault zones

Modelling of wettability alteration processes in carbonate oil reservoirs

Previous studies have shown that seawater may alter the wettability in the direction of more water-wet conditions in carbonate reservoirs. The reason for this is that ions from the salt (sulphat, magnesium, calsium, etc) can create a wettability alteration toward more water-wet conditions as salt is absorbed on the rock. In order to initiate a more systematic study of this phenomenon a 1-D math...

Hierarchical Economic Optimization of Oil Production from Petroleum Reservoirs

In oil production waterflooding is a popular recovery technology, which involves the injection of water into an oil reservoir. Studies on model-based dynamic optimization of waterflooding strategies have demonstrated that there is a significant potential to increase lifecycle performance, measured in Net Present Value. However, in these studies the complementary desire of oil companies to maxim...

Wettability Alteration of Sandstone and Carbonate Rocks by Using ZnO Nanoparticles in Heavy Oil Reservoirs

Efforts to enhance oil recovery through wettability alteration by nanoparticles have been attracted in recent years. However, many basic questions have been ambiguous up until now. Nanoparticles penetrate into pore volume of porous media, stick on the core surface, and by creating homogeneous water-wet area, cause to alter wettability. This work introduces the new concept of adding ZnO nanopart...
