Optimization of Distributed Generation Placement and Capacity Using Flower Pollination Algorithm Method

The need for energy, especially electricity is increasing along with the development of technology. An increase in electrical load and location powerplant far causes voltage drops power line losses. One solution can be chosen by adding a distributed generation (DG) to distribution network. This study aims enhance profile reduce losses based on optimal placement capacity DG-based photovoltaic (PV) Bantul Feeder 05 flower pollination algorithm (FPA) method used determine DG capacity. was conducted using three additional scenarios, namely scenario 1 single 2 multi-DG (2 3 DG). results showed that were buses 9, 19, 33 sizes 1.880 kW, 2.550 2.300 respectively. active loss from 439.8 kW 77.5 kW. research also considers reliability system observe energy not supplied cost index.
